Recall

Recall is one of the most important commands for you to teach your dog and for your dog to obey – it can save his life.

We will show you how to improve his recall if you are having problems with it by going back to basics.

We will also teach you how to get your dog to respond to not just your voice but also a whistle.

A good recall will also improve the way you feel about your dog and will enhance the relationship between you both.

Loose lead walking

A dog that is pulling you around from pillar to post is not a pleasure to be with.

Our loose lead walking technique is based on Turid Rugaas’ method.

There is no yanking on your dogs neck, no painful equipment to injure your dogs neck – it is a kind, positive and effective method to get your dog to walk nicely on a loose lead.

All it takes is the know-how and then the practice.

Rally - O Tip Top Style – Spring /Summer months

Rally-O is a fun activity combining elements of obedience and agility – much more relaxed than precision competitive obedience – Rally-O focuses on attitude and enthusiasm. You are allowed to talk to and praise your dog in the Rally-O ring.

The exercises and equipment involved in the course will build your skills as a handler and increase your dog’s repertoire of behaviours.

NB If the weather is bad Rally O will have to be cancelled due to safety but we will offer an alternative.

Afternoon workshops

During the winter months we will be running “Off Lead Lessons on the Move” – a fun class with the emphasis on controlling your dog when off lead in exciting situations.
