Puppy Classes

We sell blocks of six classes and do not run courses as such as we are well aware that people cannot always commit to a weekly class (it is better if you can be consistent but sometimes life takes over!) so lessons are valid for 3 months.

The classes are structured so that new puppies coming in are not at a disadvantage.

We work on the following important issues:

• Handling
• Loose lead walking
• Recalls
• Stays
• Leave it
• The three basic positions of sit, stand and down and much more

We also discuss Puppy biting, House training and try to deal with problems that people may be experiencing at home or out and about. It is not always possible to deal with issues in a class environment so we do encourage people to call so we can offer advice.

Puppies who complete the six weeks and reach the Kennel Club criteria will receive their Puppy Foundation certificate and rosette and then continue their education.
